Basaltra and SeaChar bring practical research questions into our project-development work: how new materials can support construction applications, and how marine biomass might contribute to durable carbon storage.
Each initiative has a defined technical focus. Basaltra examines an integrated frame and mineral-fill system; SeaChar explores marine biomass conversion into biochar and its potential applications.
The work starts with the concept and its intended use, then identifies the testing, documentation and environmental evidence required for the next development stage.
